Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers (also called soft-tissue fillers) are a non-surgical injectable treatment used to restore facial volume, create youthful facial contours, add volume to lips, and smooth out and reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and folds. According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS), dermal fillers are the most common non-surgical procedure after BOTOX®, and are typically used as part of an ongoing skin maintenance routine.
Muscle Relaxants / Neuromodulators
Muscle relaxant injectables or neuromodulators are most commonly used to erase forehead wrinkles, the glabellar lines (the lines between the eyes), and crows’ feet. They may also be used on chin creases, the neck line, nose or “bunny” lines and to provide a lift to the eyebrows and smile. Purified botulinum toxin injected directly into the muscles. This causes the muscles to relax and blocks any further contraction. Consequently, the muscles relax so that the undesirable creases gradually fade away.
